Benefits of Soft Play

Soft Play is a collection of items, like blocks, ball pits and tunnels that has become the perfect addition to toddler parties! These play areas are often enclosed which creates a perfect play space for the little ones to play. In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, they are also incredibly beneficial to your littlest party guests!

Physical Development

Crawling, climbing and jumping are things that all toddlers want to learn and try. These thoughtfully designed soft play yards provide a safe place for them to do that. Practicing these skills help develop balance, motor skills and coordination!

Social Skills

When playing with others in a soft play area toddlers are practicing sharing, taking turns and even working together. Learning to do these things helps little ones navigate social situations which is so important to their emotional development.

Sensory Stimulation

Soft Play areas appeal to multiple senses. There are many different textures, different colors, and the elements make different noises. This type of stimulation is so important for sensory integration and cognitive development.

Creativity and Imagination

Perhaps one of the more obvious ( and fun to watch as parents) is how creative and imaginative children can be when given the freedom to play in an area made specifically for them. Like sensory stimulation, being able to expand their imagination helps foster cognitive development.

Safe Play Environment

Safety is key! Our soft play yards provide a safe environment for toddlers to play independently in an area created for them. The foam mats protect children from the hard surface underneath, the soft play blocks allow them to build and climb without the fear of something hard falling on them, and the gate keeps them separate from everything they shouldn’t be getting into! This safe space allows them to gain confidence and independence.

All of these reasons (and more!) make soft play the perfect addition to a birthday party, community event or even a wedding! Not only does it give your littlest guests something fun to do but it benefits their growth at the same time!
